Pure Frustration!

So I didnt get the job in the marketing dept at osu. we found that out tuesday. Then one of erics family friends found a freelance job for me. which is fantastic and i get to charge a real hourly rate.  well i got a call today and they have to put the project on hold because the accountant found someone that might be able to do it cheaper. The guy that im working with is on my side and wants me to do the work, so i am hoping that he can convince the accountant to let me do it. so once again i am a continuing learner of patience and knowing/hoping that God will provide for us. and i miss my friends.

pray for our sanity as i look for a job and we find friends and a church home. thanks

seeger oklahom update #1

So for now until we can call everyone here is an update on us.

Saturday - loaded the truck. thanks for everyone who stopped by to say goodbye, we will see you soon. Special thanks to dave and dare for staying with us the whole day helping us load and clean and eat an awesome dinner! love ya!

Sunday - finally arrived at mom and dad seegers at midnight. it was a supper long drive with the truck since it only got 9-10 miles per gallon so we had to stop every few hours. when we finally got in i had to finish preparing my portfolio for my interview the next day at 930 in stillwater.

Monday - woke up early and headed to stillwater, an hour drive, for my interview. the interview went well. i thought i was only meeting with two people turned out it was with 10! a little nerve recking. eric and my parents waited till i was done then we showed them around stillwater and ate at eskimo joes, great place well take you there whenever you come and visit. got to go to our apartment and get our apartment. drove back to okc since thats were our truck was and we thought we wouldnt be able to get our apartment till tues. got back and
got a call from OSU for a second interview with the director and assistant director for 230pm

Tuesday - finally got to sleep in. our moving in day consisted of 104 degree weather with all sun and no breeze, sonic cherry limeades, and my second interview. we got everything in from the truck by 2. i think my second interview went well but i will not know for up to 10 days. so please be praying for us financially and just in general that we find out soon.
we then went to hideaways pizza. another place we will take you if you come to visit.

That was a brief summary of the past couple days. feel free to call us we will gladly take a break from unpacking since we are trying to get everything settled before school starts.

we would like to thank our parents for being totally awesome there is no way we could have made this move without them.

thats all for now i am weary, and finally rested. have a great night!

Day 4

So its been 4 days since eric has been gone and it feels like its been forever.

eric has been climbing mountains and dropping into old mines. He's being my handsome mountain man that he is. he is also learning to use really expensive equipment, which he will need when he is doing research in school. he's pretty pumped still about the whole deal other then being away from me of course.
i've been up to alot of nothing and its been great. I've been hanging with my family and friends and also working at our friends office doing paper work and such. Ill also be doing some free lance work. anyways thats my update for now!

Day 1

So its day one of us being apart from each other. Don't worry I won't do this everyday.

Eric is safely in Colorado. He arrived last night and had an hour and a half long meeting and then a camp fire hang out time. I talked to him today and he said they pretty much climbed a mountain. So he will be staying busy.

I've been pretty productive. I found that I will have a lot of time on my hands so I figured I'd start a blog again. Thats all for now I might add more later. Have a great Monday my friends!
